One check. One price. No subscription.
MakeIRL sells a single thing: an automated preflightof the KiCad files you upload. It runs a fixed set of deterministic manufacturing checks and hands you an honest report. You pay per board, when you’re ready to check one.
Automated Preflight
You upload a board, we run the gate, you get the report. Pay once for that release. Fix and re-upload as a new release whenever you want — you only pay again when you check a new board.
Payments aren’t live yet. Join the waitlist and we’ll email you the moment checkout opens.
Secure checkout via Stripe. Have a FOUNDER100code? Enter it on the Stripe page — it takes the whole $79 to $0.
What a preflight checks
- Electrical rule checks (ERC) on your schematic
- Design rule checks (DRC), including manufacturing clearances
- Schematic ↔ PCB parity (the netlists must match)
- BOM line completeness and MPN / package sanity
- Gerber, drill, and placement export integrity
- Named heuristic checks (power, reset, programming, connector patterns)
- A plain-English report with a BLOCKED / REVIEW / READY verdict
What it can’t tell you
- Whether your circuit does what you designed it to do
- Firmware or embedded-code correctness
- RF, EMC, thermal, or signal-integrity performance
- The factory order itself (that's a separate step, once you're ready)
When every check passes, the report reads READY FOR MANUFACTURING — function not proven. That sentence is the whole product: we check that a design is internally consistent and safe to send to a factory, not that the circuit works. The full detail is in the Terms and the Release Gate Warranty. Read both before you check out.
